Meet Abuelo Teo and Mama Leva! These Calaveritas sculptures, created by Radical Design’s co-founder and artist Rino, were part of the Day of the Dead Festival at Byward Market in 2024. Crafted using traditional Mexican cartoneria techniques, these sculptures were brought to life with the help of students from the Ottawa School of Art, who added their artistic touch through painting.

Exciting news! We are thrilled to announce that our Calaveritas sculptures will be featured again in the 2025 edition of the festival! This time, they'll take center stage as part of the main altar. We can’t wait for you to see them!
